DESCRIPTION
In 1980, Rolls-Royce announced the end of production of the venerable Silver Shadow saloon, which had been in continuous production since 1965, and introduced the all-new Silver Spirit. Shortly thereafter, the longer-wheelbase Silver Spur was added to the range, offering increased rear-seat accommodation and a more formal roofline, distinguished by its Everflex padded roof. While subtle refinements were made over the years, the Silver Spur?s stately appearance remained largely unchanged.
This example is particularly elegant in its Porcelain White finish, complemented by the Tan Everflex roof and beautifully preserved Tan Connolly leather interior with white piping. The cabin is further enhanced by deep-pile Tan Wilton wool carpets and exquisite polished walnut fascia and interior trim. Rear-seat passengers are treated to walnut picnic tables, illuminated walnut vanity mirrors in each rear corner, carpeted footrests, a folding center armrest, and sheepskin floor coverings. With only 10,000 miles from new, this Silver Spur remains immaculate throughout.
The mere mention of Rolls-Royce immediately conjures images of elegance and opulence, and this Silver Spur embodies those qualities perfectlyparticularly as a product of one of the marque?s most refined and luxurious eras.
