Bill Devin founded the brand which operated from 1955 to 1964. Their claim to fame was producing high quality fiberglass bodied cars, automotive accessories, and complete automobiles. Devin bodies we?re able to set themselves above from the competition by providing a higher quality finish by using fiberglass cloth rather than the coarser glass mat alternative used by other manufacturers of the era. This resulted in very smooth finishes with cleaner lines around edges of the vehicles. Devin?s raced successfully in SCCA C-modified class competing against Ferrari's, Lister's, and Maserati's or the era.

Power is derived from a 283ci Corvette V8 that has been modified with an Iskenderian Isky racing cam providing an ample power boost while maintaining drivability.
